Getting silly with age

Recently I went to see the new Star Trek with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The same can be said of Wolverine and Angels and Demons but I noticed a disturbing trend with these and other movies as of late.  I cry.

I mostly can keep it to a respectful tear-stained cheek, moist eyes but there are the more worrisome occasions where I must confess I have a sniffle or two.  I'm more than a little bothered by this development as I used to be able to watch all but the most heart-wrenching scenes of movies and maintain my cool and composure.

I'm told that this is a result of maturity, that crying more easily comes with age.  Why didn't anyone warn me about this one?  My friends are still my friends, but they still delight in ribbing me mercilessly about tearing up at nearly the drop of a hat now.  Damn my soft heart-strings.

I am very much the same. I cry most days and not just at things that are meant to make us cry. I think it's good for the spirit but it can get a bit tiresome! :)
